The event was held from September 3 to 6 at COEX in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. More than 10,000 visitors, including VIPs and well-known influencers, attended and contributed to the event's success.
The Frieze Art Fair is a globally renowned art fair held in London, New York, Los Angeles, and Seoul, attracting leading galleries and artists from around the world each year. At this year’s Frieze Seoul 2025, NAMUHX unveiled its upcoming wellness robot, scheduled for release in the second half of the year, drawing significant attention from visitors. On-site, inquiries about purchases and business partnerships continued, leading to tangible business outcomes.
For this exhibition, NAMUHX set the theme as “Rest,” inspired by artist Youngwook Choi’s public art project “Comma” and the “Karma” series, delivering a shared message of “rest and healing.” Through this, NAMUHX also conveyed its brand philosophy that “technology should serve people.” Visitors at the venue commented, “It was the most comfortable and moving exhibition in the hall,” and “In a calm and warm atmosphere, you could feel the warmth of technology directed toward people.”
The wellness robot NAMUHX, also on display, attracted considerable interest. When the air sensor, shaped like a moon jar, detected formaldehyde-a major cause of sick house syndrome-the red indicator light signaled air pollution. The robot then demonstrated its ability to autonomously avoid obstacles, move near the pollution source, and purify the air, leaving visitors amazed.
The non-contact “Vital Sign Check” feature, which measures five key health indicators including body temperature, pulse, and oxygen saturation, also garnered attention. Visitors compared the results with their own smartwatches and expressed surprise at the high level of accuracy.
A NAMUHX representative stated, “The NAMUHX wellness robot, designed with inspiration from Youngwook Choi’s works, draws from the gentle and balanced form of the moon jar to provide a nature-friendly and comfortable wellness environment.” The representative added, “This exhibition served as a great opportunity to communicate NAMUHX’s unique brand philosophy, which blends art and technology, to our visitors.” They continued, “Through this exhibition, we attracted interest from various companies and institutions, expanded our business channels, and secured about 1,500 potential customers on-site, achieving results beyond our expectations.”
Meanwhile, NAMUHX is the world’s first mobility wellness robot based on artificial intelligence (AI) technology. It features: an Air Solution that detects pollutants with its air sensor and autonomously moves to quickly and powerfully purify indoor air; a non-contact Vital Sign Check that measures five key health indicators (body temperature, cardiac activity, pulse, oxygen saturation, and stress index) in just 10 seconds; and a range of AI care services tailored to different situations, including interactive, relax, welcome, and wake-up modes. The robot is scheduled for release in the second half of this year.
