Wanju County in North Jeolla Province has imposed the regular September 2025 property tax, totaling 11.5 billion won, an increase of 200 million won (1.7%) compared to the previous year. According to the county on September 11, the regular September property tax is assessed on owners of land and housing as of the tax reference date, June 1. For housing, if the annual tax exceeds 200,000 won, it is split in half and billed as the first installment in July and the second installment in September.

The payment deadline is September 30. Even without a tax bill, residents can easily pay using cash cards, credit cards, or bankbooks through bank unmanned payment machines or ATMs.

Various other payment methods are also available, including the local tax payment system Wetax, ARS system, and virtual account services.

Lee Heechan, head of the county's Fiscal Management Division, stated, "Property tax is an important resource for regional development and the welfare of county residents. Please ensure to pay by the deadline, as a 3% late fee will be charged for overdue payments."
