Unique Training Program Combines Anti-Corruption Laws and Musical Performance
On September 10, Sangju City in North Gyeongsang Province held an "Anti-Corruption Capacity Building Integrity Training" for approximately 350 employees at the Sangju Culture and Arts Center Grand Theater.
Mayor Youngseok Kang of Sangju City is conducting the 2025 Sangju City Anti-Corruption Capacity Building Integrity Training.
This training was organized to provide in-depth learning on key regulations such as the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act, the Code of Conduct for Public Officials, and the Conflict of Interest Prevention Act. It also aimed to improve negative organizational cultures such as abuse of power and nepotism.
Rather than simply explaining regulations, the training featured lectures focused on real-life cases, offering concrete solutions to problems that public officials may encounter in the field.
In particular, an integrity-themed musical performance was presented at the training venue, delivering messages about integrity through artistic means. This allowed participants to engage with interest while naturally internalizing the value of integrity.
Mayor Youngseok Kang emphasized, "Integrity is the most fundamental and essential value that public officials must uphold. I hope this training will encourage employees to practice integrity in their daily lives and help establish a public service culture that earns the trust of citizens."
