In particular, 99 volunteers who have been actively involved in disaster relief, support for vulnerable groups, blood donation, and community service received the "Red Cross Volunteer Medal," as well as commendations from the Minister of Health and Welfare, the Minister of the Interior and Safety, and the President of the National Council of Volunteer Associations.

A dedication ceremony for volunteers was held during the event. Seven thousand volunteers from across the country raised finger lights to symbolize "the light that brightens the world." This ceremony was inspired by a line from a poem dedicated by Dr. Albert Schweitzer to the Red Cross, "The Red Cross is a lamp that brightens the darkness," and the lyrics from the volunteer dedication song "The World Will Remember," which say, "We will become a ray of light in the darkness."
The pre-ceremony performances included a vocal concert, a percussion performance, and a b-boying stage, followed by singer Joella performing the Red Cross volunteer dedication song "The World Will Remember." In the second part of the event, Korean Red Cross ambassador Jang Minho, along with singers Ahn Sunghoon and Jin Sung, delivered congratulatory performances.
