Yangcheon District in Seoul (District Mayor Lee Gijae) will host the "2025 Paris Park Culture Festival," infused with French sensibilities, at Paris Park on September 13. This flagship local festival, held at Paris Park, which was established to commemorate the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and France, offers families a special day to experience French cuisine, music, and games together.

This year's festival, themed "A Holiday in Paris," features a total of six themed programs: the French Culture Concert, Michelin Guide, Wine Festa, Petit Flea Market, Yangcheon Atelier, and Mok5sion World. On the main stage, residents will showcase their talents and street busking performances during the day, while a romantic concert featuring chanson and jazz will take place in the evening.
At the Wine Festa Zone, visitors can taste and purchase renowned French and domestic wines. The Michelin Guide Zone will offer both French cuisine and K-food, and a special booth run by French chefs will allow guests to sample authentic French dishes.
Yangcheon Atelier will feature French-Korean cultural experience booths, including beginner French classes, cake making, succulent pot planting, and a large block-building play zone, all expected to be popular with visiting families.
Additionally, the festival will be enriched by the "Petit Flea Market" for children, the "Mok5sion World" water play area with musical and ground fountains, and photo zones featuring recreations of famous Parisian landmarks.
Lee Gijae, Mayor of Yangcheon District, stated, "I hope this festival provides residents with an opportunity to experience French culture in their daily lives and to develop a new sense of cultural sensitivity," adding, "We will continue our efforts to ensure that the Paris Park Culture Festival becomes a symbolic event for cultural exchange with France and grows into a world-class cultural festival."
