The guide was created in response to the city's steadily increasing population, including a continuous rise in the number of new residents, to help citizens of all ages enjoy a more convenient daily life.
The city explained that, in particular, the guidebook was produced in print form to accommodate seniors and other citizens who may not be familiar with digital environments.
The guide includes information such as: tasks to complete after moving in, various welfare benefits and support services, household waste disposal methods, and the Hwaseong Citizen Safety Insurance. It also organizes details on eligibility and application procedures, as well as contact information for relevant departments and institutions and website addresses, making it easy for citizens to find the information they need.
Kim Soonhee, head of Hwaseong City's Civil Affairs Administration Division, stated, "We hope this guide will be of practical help to citizens in their daily lives," adding, "We will continue to promote various administrative services to further enhance citizen convenience."
