Pop Mart Korea announced on September 8 that it will operate a popup store under the theme "Labubu's Suspicious Convenience Store" in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, from the 12th to the 25th.
This popup store was planned to introduce the recently launched "The Monsters: Suspicious Convenience Store" series, part of the globally popular Labubu intellectual property, to domestic customers. The concept is that the mischievous Labubu has transformed an ordinary convenience store into its own playground. True to the convenience store theme, visitors can discover hidden Labubu figures in various ways within a popup space reminiscent of a real convenience store.
During the popup store period, Pop Mart Korea will also release a total of eight limited-edition products, including doll keyrings dressed in staff uniforms. In addition, a wide variety of popular Labubu products will be available.
There will also be various interactive programs featuring Labubu. These include the "Suspicious Convenience Store Manager Experience," where visitors can take commemorative photos at a photo zone set against a convenience store backdrop; a mini-game to find hidden Labubu figures within the store within a limited time; and a mini convenience store diorama photo zone for Labubu figurines. A unique photo booth will also be provided.
This popup store will operate on a 100% reservation basis. Customers wishing to visit can search for "Labubu's Suspicious Convenience Store" on Naver starting today and reserve their preferred date of visit.
A representative from Pop Mart Korea stated, "We have created a space that anyone who loves Labubu can enjoy, so we hope you will visit and have the opportunity to experience the charm of Labubu."
