An event showcasing the latest trends in the content industry, including characters, games, licensing, and cosplay, will be held in Daejeon.

The Daejeon Metropolitan Government will host the "2025 Daejeon Content Fair" from September 13 to 14 at Exhibition Hall 2 of the Daejeon Convention Center. The event is organized by Daejeon City and co-hosted by the Daejeon Tourism Organization and the Daejeon Information & Culture Industry Promotion Agency.

Now in its fourth year, the Daejeon Content Fair has established itself as a leading event encompassing the latest content industries such as characters, games, and licensing. This year, 80 companies will participate, operating more than 200 booths.

During the event, a variety of stages and experience zones will be available, including an e-sports match featuring professional StarCraft gamers, a national cosplay runway, a goods market and showroom for Kkumdori, Daejeon's signature character, a virtual screening in collaboration with Stellive, and a B2B business consultation zone.

There will also be a board game experience zone for families, an anime DJ party based on animation music, and a unique Itasha car exhibition, offering a wide range of programs for all ages to enjoy.

This year, in particular, a new exhibition will feature goods and collaboration products based on the "Kkumssi Family" characters.

Lee Jangwoo, Mayor of Daejeon, stated, "The Daejeon Content Fair is a festival where content companies, creators, and fans come together, and it is growing into a representative event that encompasses both industrial and popular appeal. Through this event, we aim to establish Daejeon as a central hub for K-Content."
