Research Alarm predicted on September 8 that MDS Tech is likely to achieve structural growth across all business sectors in the second half of this year.

Choi Seonghwan, a researcher at Research Alarm, explained, "MDS Tech is the exclusive domestic distributor for Nvidia's edge AI-dedicated compact computer module series," and "it is also the official partner for supplying AI servers based on high-performance GPUs such as A100, H100, and Blackwell."

He added, "MDS Tech possesses a unique level of engineering capabilities in Korea, providing not only simple distribution but also integrated services including server design, system construction, and technical support," and "based on this competitiveness, MDS Tech is highly likely to participate as a key supplier in government-led GPU introduction projects."

Researcher Choi analyzed, "The government plans to establish 'Sovereign AI' by directly procuring GPUs at the national strategic level and outsourcing data center operations to private operators," and "next year's budget includes a large-scale infrastructure construction plan to purchase an additional 2 trillion won worth of GPUs, totaling around 50,000 units."

He further explained, "Globally, demand for robotic automation is rapidly expanding across manufacturing, logistics, and service industries," and "MDS Tech is expected to benefit from this trend." He emphasized, "AI-based vision systems, autonomous robots, and industrial collaborative robots all rely on GPU-based computing power," and "the adoption of Nvidia's platform is rapidly increasing."
