24 Flights from Busan to Nagasaki and Toyama Operated Between October 1 and 12
Nagasaki and Toyama Offer Exotic Atmosphere and Scenic Nature as New Travel Attractions
Air Busan, led by CEO Jung Byungseop, will operate irregular flights to Nagasaki and Toyama in Japan during the Chuseok holiday period.
On September 8, Air Busan announced that it will operate a total of 24 flights between October 1 and 12, including 16 flights on the Busan-Nagasaki route and 8 flights on the Busan-Toyama route. This increase in flights is aimed at accommodating the surge in demand for travel to Japan during the holiday period and expanding travel options for customers.
The Busan-Nagasaki route is being launched as a direct flight for the first time, which is expected to improve accessibility and attract more tourists. Nagasaki is well-known for its exotic port city scenery and local cuisine such as Nagasaki Jjamppong.
Toyama serves as the gateway to the Northern Alps Alpine Route and is also famous for its autumn foliage. Except during the COVID-19 period, Air Busan has exclusively operated charter flights to Toyama since 2018, consistently demonstrating strong demand with an average load factor in the high 80% range.
An Air Busan representative stated, "We have arranged these irregular flights in response to customer demand for destinations with diverse attractions," adding, "We aim to provide a unique travel experience during the Chuseok golden holiday."
Tickets for these flights can be reserved through designated travel agencies such as Hana Tour, Yellow Balloon, JT, VJT, Tour Phone, The Tour, and Y Tour & Golf.
