Gyeonggi Province, in collaboration with Suwon City, will host "G-BIO WEEK X AI CONNECT with G-FAIR 2025" at the Suwon Convention Center from September 22 to 24.
This event encompasses the bio and artificial intelligence (AI) sectors, which are Gyeonggi Province's future strategic industries. It aims to connect technology, industry, and policy, with a focus on building an innovation ecosystem through exchanges among key players in industry, academia, research, hospitals, and government.
For the first time this year, G-Bio Week, AI Connect, and G-Fair AI will be held as a single integrated event. The program will feature a variety of activities, including the opening ceremony and Global Innovation Summit, the Gwanggyo Biohealth Forum, the AI Conference, the Bio Open Innovation Meetup, the G-FAIR AI Export Exhibition, global networking sessions, exhibitions of bio technologies and AI advanced technology experiences, and a bio recruitment briefing session.
In addition, Gyeonggi Province will hold the AI Export Exhibition, part of its flagship brand exhibition G-FAIR, during the same period. At the exhibition, 25 promising small and medium-sized enterprises from the province's AI sector will showcase their products and hold export and investment consultations with buyers from around the world, including the United States, China, and Russia.
Ko Youngin, Vice Governor for Economy of Gyeonggi Province, stated, "This event will present an innovative model that combines bio and AI, and serve as a platform for a global network where industry, academia, research, hospitals, and government closely collaborate. We will lay the foundation for Gyeonggi Province to become a global hub for bio and AI."
