Experiences LG's "Spielraum" and Latest AI Appliances at IFA 2025
Kai Wegner, Mayor of Berlin, Germany, personally visited the exhibition halls of Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics at the International Consumer Electronics Fair (IFA) 2025, Europe's largest home appliance exhibition, which opened on September 5 (local time). Accompanied by German government officials, he listened to explanations about Korean companies' artificial intelligence (AI) home solutions and explored hyper-personalized experiences.

On this day, Mayor Wegner visited the IFA exhibition hall together with Franziska Giffey, Member of the Berlin Senate, and Christoph Floss, Coordinator at the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. At the Samsung Electronics exhibition hall, he learned about Samsung's vision encapsulated in the theme "AI Home, Making Future Daily Life a Reality," and reviewed Samsung's AI home experience scenarios.
Samsung Electronics prepared spaces where visitors could experience innovative products such as the Bespoke AI Steam Robot Vacuum and Micro RGB TV, and even installed an actual modular home featuring the highly popular "Smart Modular Home Solution" in Europe. The company also unveiled its new Galaxy S25 FE and other mobile products in Germany for the first time in 11 years.

Mayor Wegner then visited the LG Electronics exhibition hall to view LG's new AI home appliances tailored to European customers' preferences and lifestyles. He spent a long time at the booth, including riding in a vehicle equipped with the AI mobility space solution "Spielraum," and directly experienced the expansion of LG's AI home beyond the house into mobility.
Meanwhile, Mayor Wegner also visited the exhibition halls of German companies such as Miele, Bosch, Siemens, Jura, and Liebherr, as well as Chinese companies including Hisense and Haier.
