Strengthening Integrated Security Solutions and Physical AI
Yoo Youngsang, CEO of SK Telecom, announced on September 5 that the company is launching a 90-day workshop schedule to strengthen its partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS). This initiative aims to further expand the scope of cooperation, including security and physical AI, in addition to their existing collaboration on the Ulsan Artificial Intelligence Data Center.
On his LinkedIn account that day, Yoo wrote, "SK Telecom and AWS held an executive vision workshop in Seoul and have embarked on a 90-day journey to enhance future collaboration."
He explained, "During the workshop, we will focus on four key areas: integrated security solutions, physical artificial intelligence (AI), network AI, and the global telecom industry's AI transformation." He emphasized, "Having a partner like AWS during this period of transformation is truly a valuable asset."
Yoo also introduced that Jaime Valles, Vice President and General Manager for Asia Pacific and Japan at AWS, shared his insights, and added, "The next 90 days will be an intensive and productive period."
