Participation in the 13th National Convention of Korean Women Farmers
As the 43rd Geumsan World Ginseng Festival approaches on September 19, the Geumsan County chapter of the Korean Women Farmers Association participated in the 13th National Convention of Korean Women Farmers, held from September 3 to 5 at the Hantangang UNESCO Global Geopark in Pocheon, Gyeonggi Province. During the event, they promoted the festival by distributing promotional materials and souvenirs.
This convention brought together more than 8,000 women farmers from across the country to advance sustainable agriculture and enhance the rights and interests of women farmers. It also served as a platform for information sharing and solidarity among different regions.
The Geumsan County chapter represented Geumsan at the event, actively engaging with other regions and showcasing the achievements of local women farmers.
Kim Kiae, president of the Geumsan County chapter of the Korean Women Farmers Association, stated, "As a woman farmer, I will do my part to advance agriculture in Geumsan," adding, "I will take the lead in ensuring the successful hosting of the 43rd Geumsan World Ginseng Festival."
