Jindo County in South Jeolla Province is accelerating its efforts to create "Jindo in Bloom 365 Days," a project aimed at transforming the local living environment with lush green landscapes, allowing residents to enjoy flowers and forests throughout all four seasons.

On September 2, the county announced that, as part of this initiative, it has established flower roads, flower hills, and flower gardens covering a total area of 284,832 square meters, including 10 large-scale flower gardens in the agricultural and industrial complex and the Jindo Port area.

Additionally, the county has planted 310,000 flower seedlings and 7,000 kilograms of flower seeds produced in-house, offering vibrant and diverse scenery in every season.

In particular, the swan lake park flower road and the hydrangea park at Unrim Forest Bath have become new attractions for both residents and tourists, as they are filled with colorful flowers and blooming hydrangeas.

Furthermore, the county carried out mowing and pruned 5,248 roadside trees along five major roads (totaling 46 kilometers) to create a safe and pleasant road environment. It also renovated 24 small parks (281,727 square meters) and 26 community and urban forests (119,750 square meters) with the participation of local resident groups, providing new leisure and relaxation spaces for the community.

Kim Heesu, Governor of Jindo County, stated, "A beautiful and pleasant green environment, where flowers and forests harmonize, will not only improve the quality of life for our residents but also leave a lasting impression on visitors to Jindo. We will continue to do our utmost to realize 'Jindo in Bloom 365 Days,' where everyone in the county can smile and enjoy the flowers."
