One-Point Lessons for Local Youth Athletes
MG Sports Team Shares Expertise Through Talent Donation Activities
The Saemaeul Geumgo Central Association announced that, as part of its social contribution initiatives, it carried out talent donation activities by utilizing the professional expertise of athletes from the Saemaeul Geumgo MG Sports Team.
The talent donation event took place on August 19 at the MG Human Resources Development Institute in Cheonan, Chungnam, and was aimed at 13 student athletes from wrestling and badminton teams in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province. The event saw the participation of 26 MG Sports Team members and coaching staff, including wrestling team coach Lee Seungsam, Cheonhajangsa champion Jang Sungwoo, Hallajangsa champion Oh Changrok, badminton team coach Han Sanghun, and player Sung Ahyoung. Various programs were held, such as exhibition matches and one-point lessons. After training, a mentoring session and autograph signing were organized to motivate students aspiring to become athletes and to boost their self-esteem.
Kim In, President of the Saemaeul Geumgo Central Association, stated, "By returning the talents of the MG Sports Team to the local community, we aimed to realize social value. I hope that through this talent donation, young athletes can take a step closer to achieving their dreams. Moving forward, Saemaeul Geumgo and the Saemaeul Geumgo Central Association will continue striving to promote a culture of sharing in our society."
