Mayor Yuseong Hoon of Geumcheon District Strengthens On-Site Communication with “Neighborhood Tour with the Alley Mayor”

Visiting 10 Neighborhoods in the District Over 20 Days Starting September 3

Geumcheon District in Seoul (Mayor Yuseong Hoon) will operate the "Neighborhood Tour with the Alley Mayor" from September 3 to October 1 to mark the 30th anniversary of the district's founding and the Chuseok holiday.

During this period, Mayor Yuseong Hoon will visit one neighborhood each day for ten days, touring key project sites and locations related to civil complaints in each area, and engaging directly with residents.

Mayor Yuseong Hoon will begin by visiting the Dementia Relief Center in Doksan 1-dong, followed by visits to the homes of elderly recipients of basic living support who live alone, as well as to sponsoring companies to express his gratitude. At the "Generational Empathy Festival," the representative village festival of Doksan 1-dong, he will listen to the stories of various residents.

He is also scheduled to visit major civil complaint sites in the district, including the site of street vendor complaints regarding sidewalk occupation by Hyundai Outlet in Gasan-dong, the public parking lot in Doksan 4-dong where there is a risk of wall collapse, and the construction site of the safe underpass on Hoam-ro in Siheung 2-dong.
