Hope Friends World Vision Korea Appoints Actress Shin Yeeun as Public Relations Ambassador

Hope Friends World Vision Korea (Chairman Choi Changnam) announced on September 1 that actress Shin Yeeun has been appointed as a new public relations ambassador.

Shin Yeeun first became involved with World Vision Korea in 2019 after coming across one of its sponsorship campaigns by chance and began supporting a child. Since then, she has embraced the value of sharing, maintained a continuous interest, and has consistently carried out good deeds for vulnerable children both in Korea and abroad. Recently, she donated funds for the recovery of wildfire damage in Gyeongnam and Gyeongbuk, and has expanded her positive influence by joining as an ambassador for Season 3 of the "Hope Bracelet Campaign," World Vision Korea’s first series-type fundraising campaign launched this year.

At the appointment ceremony held on August 29 at the headquarters of World Vision Korea in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, Shin Yeeun shared her thoughts, saying, "My biggest dream and goal as an actress is to expand my positive influence. I will do my best to share the love I have received as an actress with neighbors in need through World Vision Korea and to deliver hope."

Choi Changnam, Chairman of Hope Friends World Vision Korea, stated, "The participation of Shin Yeeun, who has a warm heart, as a public relations ambassador will be a great source of strength for children and sponsors. Together with Ambassador Shin Yeeun, we will continue to deliver love to children in Korea and abroad and create sustainable change."

The public relations ambassadors of World Vision Korea participate in the organization’s activities to end poverty both domestically and internationally, delivering hope to neighbors in need. Currently, actress Park Shinhye, actress Yoon Eunhye, singer Yoon Dohyun, actress Kim Hyeeun, and musical actress Hong Jimin are also serving as ambassadors.
