Chungnam Province has achieved simultaneous success in targeting its top two export markets by securing new export contracts worth a total of 46.58 million dollars in China and Vietnam.

K-Taeheum Kim's sales diplomacy has further strengthened the global presence of Chungnam-made K-products in the international market.

According to Chungnam Province, Governor Kim Taeheum, during his official visits to China and Vietnam, hosted Business Matching Day events with 30 local export companies in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, Vietnam, facilitating 359 consultations worth 88.51 million dollars. The delegation returned to Korea on the 30th, as announced on the 31st.

Of these, 84 memorandums of understanding (MOUs) for exports totaling 33.58 million dollars were signed, and including a contract worth 13 million dollars concluded at the opening ceremony of the Shanghai China Office on the 25th, the total achievement amounted to 46.58 million dollars.

In China, Chungnam established its China Office in Shanghai, a global financial and trade hub, thereby setting up a full-fledged forward base.

With this, Chungnam now operates a total of seven overseas offices in the United States, Japan, Germany, India, Indonesia, Vietnam, and China.

In Vietnam, the province established a new base for exchange spanning north and south by signing a friendship agreement with Hue City in central Vietnam, following previous agreements with Ho Chi Minh City, the economic capital, and Da Nang, a global tourism city.

Governor Kim met sequentially with local People's Committee chairpersons to discuss ways to expand exchange and cooperation.

Governor Kim also attended a smart farm cooperation agreement ceremony among Yeonam University, Ho Chi Minh University of Agriculture and Forestry, and Tan Tao University, supporting agricultural education and research exchanges. He also promoted the Taean International Horticultural Healing Expo and invited international guests as part of his activities.

A provincial official stated, "Securing new export routes in Chungnam's top two export markets is highly significant, as it strengthens the foundation for future investment attraction and international exchange."
