The TechFinder Showcase is a program designed to introduce innovative technologies and business models of domestic fintech companies to the financial sector and connect them with domestic and international investors.
Selected companies will be given the opportunity to showcase their solutions to overseas investors and others at 'Korea Fintech Week 2025', which will be held for three days starting November 26 at the aT Center in Seocho-gu, Seoul. They will be able to use individual booths and related facilities free of charge and will receive practical support for on-site presentations and other activities.
This year, the Financial Supervisory Service explained that the program has been structured to focus on supporting practical investment attraction and overseas expansion, going beyond simple technology demonstrations. In collaboration with the Korea Fintech Industry Association, the event will integrate the 'TechFinder Showcase', which introduces technologies and business models; the 'VC Investment Festival', where companies can present their technologies to overseas venture capital institutions at individual booths; and the 'Fintech Connecting Day', an in-depth networking event for investors.
Even after the event, the Financial Supervisory Service plans to provide tailored consulting, including global expansion mentoring by the Korea Fintech Industry Association, to help fintech companies establish sustainable growth paths.
Companies wishing to participate should submit the application form and related documents, along with an introduction, via email by the 30th.
The Financial Supervisory Service plans to select approximately five companies through a document and presentation review by internal and external experts.
Lee Jongo, Deputy Governor for Digital and Information Technology at the Financial Supervisory Service, emphasized, "The showcase will serve to channel funds into productive sectors such as future growth industries," adding, "We will continue to provide customized support at each stage of growth so that fintech innovation contributes not only to short-term achievements, but also to improving the structure of Korea's financial industry and enhancing consumer benefits."
