During the first part of the event, three organizations-Wonju City, the Wonju Cultural Foundation, and the Seoul-Gangwon Regional Headquarters of the National Health Insurance Service-signed a sustainable eco-friendly festival cooperation agreement. Each organization agreed to strengthen their eco-friendly collaboration system by using reusable containers and eco-friendly products.
In the second part, the official launch of the 2025 Wonju Dumpling Festival supporters group, Mandudeokhu, took place.
The supporters group will play a key role in realizing a citizen-participatory festival by promoting the event, assisting with on-site operations, and guiding various experiences. The launch ceremony was held in a lively atmosphere, featuring a pre-ceremony performance of the dumpling festival theme song by the band Rovers, a reading of the pledge, and a group chant.
