Gijang County in Busan Holds Stretching Challenge for Pregnant Women... "Helps Build Healthy Childbirth Habits"

Operated Online for Five Weeks
High Satisfaction and Positive Feedback from Participating Pregnant Women

Gijang County (Governor Jung Jongbok) recently concluded the "Breathe, Move, and Prenatal Care" stretching challenge for pregnant women with great success.

This program, organized by the Gijang County Public Health Center, was held online for five weeks from July 21 to August 24, 2025, to support healthy childbirth for pregnant women.

In particular, considering the living conditions where many couples are both working, the program adopted an online format so that participants could join regardless of time or location, which received a very positive response.

The program utilized the "Healthy All-In (Proper Physical Activity for Pregnant Women for Health)" video content produced by the Korea Health Promotion Institute as weekly content. By providing professional yet easy-to-follow stretching routines, the program was praised for enhancing pregnant women's ability to manage their own health proactively.

Thirty-two pregnant women participated, leaving 29 certification posts and 22 certification photos. Positive feedback included comments such as, "It's great that I can do simple stretches even in the office," and "I enjoyed stretching together with my husband."

An official from the Gijang County Public Health Center stated, "This program focused on cultivating proper health management habits for healthy childbirth among busy working pregnant women," and added, "We will continue to actively use professional content like the 'Healthy All-In' videos to support the health and happy childbirth of pregnant women."
