KB Kookmin Bank to Launch Open Recruitment for New and Experienced Employees in the Second Half of 2025

On August 29, KB Kookmin Bank announced that it will recruit approximately 180 new and experienced employees in the second half of this year to select challenging and innovative talents who will lead the future financial market.


The open recruitment for new employees covers a total of six categories with around 150 positions: UB, ICT, professional qualifications (Certified Public Accountant), veterans, specialized high school graduates, and discharged military officers.


First, the UB category is divided into corporate client finance/customer asset management and regional talent (across six regions). The bank seeks self-driven candidates with sales capabilities and fundamental digital literacy. The recruitment process consists of a document screening, written test, first interview, and second interview. The ICT category is divided into roles such as IT and IT platform development, with candidates selected through a coding test and interviews, without a written test.


Additionally, KB Kookmin Bank has established a new category for professional qualifications (Certified Public Accountant) to secure top talent for core positions. This recruitment targets holders of the Korea Institute of Certified Public Accountants (KICPA) qualification who possess specialized expertise in accounting, and the process does not include a written test.


Furthermore, as a leading company in ESG management, KB Kookmin Bank is conducting special recruitment for veterans and specialized high school graduates, and also operates a recruitment track for discharged military officers, providing opportunities to a diverse pool of candidates.


Applications will be accepted through the KB Kookmin Bank recruitment website until September 9, and the final successful candidates are scheduled to be announced in November.

Separately from the open recruitment for new employees, the bank also plans to conduct rolling recruitment for experienced professionals in various fields, such as lawyers and AI-related roles, with approximately 30 positions available in the second half of the year.
