Naver Cloud announced on August 29 that it is joining forces with financial AI specialist Thinkpool to accelerate the artificial intelligence (AI) transformation (AX) of the investment finance sector.

This collaboration aims to enhance the competitiveness of the investment finance industry by combining cloud and AI technologies in a rapidly changing financial market environment. Naver Cloud plans to contribute its stable and scalable cloud infrastructure and AI technological capabilities, while Thinkpool will add its expertise in financial AI and investment information analysis, creating synergy between the two companies.

The two companies will specifically utilize "HyperCLOVA X THINK," a finance-specialized model based on Naver’s large-scale AI, HyperCLOVA X. By applying Text-to-SQL technology-which automatically converts questions written in natural language into SQL queries-and routing technology, they will build a chatbot service that provides real-time information on stocks, companies, and markets when investors ask questions in natural language. The solution will first be supplied to securities firms and media companies, and later, services for general investors will also be introduced. System development is scheduled to be completed by the end of October.
