On August 30, the National Heritage Administration will select 180 youth and university students from Korea and abroad as Digital National Heritage Ambassadors through the metaverse platform ZEP. They will be tasked with correcting misinformation about Korean culture and heritage, as well as creating online content to promote the true value of Korea's heritage.
The activity period will last for one month. Centered around social networking services (SNS), they will conduct a campaign titled "Using Our Heritage Names As They Are" and produce content introducing national heritage. They will also identify and correct distorted information related to Korean heritage.
The National Heritage Administration will present certificates of appointment to seventy outstanding participants. At the end of the year, one top participant will be selected to receive a commendation.
