Pocheon City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Younghyeon) announced on the 27th that it will host the '2025 Pocheon Humanities City Festival' at the Pocheon Sports Complex on September 27.
This year's festival, themed 'Meeting the Greater Me: Learning for All, Growth for All,' will offer a variety of experiences, performances, and educational exhibitions open to everyone.
Planned around the theme of a humanities journey, the festival will feature an experiential program in the style of the board game 'Blue Marble,' allowing citizens to enjoy learning as a playful activity.
At the venue, various programs will be available, including jumping dance sessions with lively rhythms, large-scale games such as giant Jenga and chess for families, soccer quizzes and OX quizzes, a book lounge for reading and relaxation, and a lifelong learning club performance showcase.
Mayor Baek Younghyeon of Pocheon City stated, "This Humanities City Festival is an opportunity for all citizens to learn, share, and grow together," adding, "I hope you will join us with your family to experience the joy of the humanities and the value of lifelong learning."
