Yeosu City in South Jeolla Province announced on the 26th that it had signed a promotional business agreement for the "2026 Yeosu World Island Expo" with KBS N on the 25th at the KBS Media Center conference room in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul.


Under the agreement, KBS N will broadcast virtual advertisements promoting the Island Expo during the "2025 Yeosu·NH Nonghyup KOVO Cup Professional Volleyball Tournament," which will be held in Yeosu from September 13 to 28.


The two organizations will work together to promote the expo through broadcasting and new media, jointly develop island culture and marine tourism content, and cooperate on promotional activities at each stage of the expo's preparation.


Lee Kangdeok, CEO of KBS N, stated, "As a member of the KBS Media Group, we will actively contribute to the successful hosting of the Island Expo," adding, "Through broadcasting and new media, we will widely promote the significance and value of the 2026 Yeosu World Island Expo."


Mayor Jung Kimyung emphasized, "This collaboration will serve as a strong support in introducing the 2026 Yeosu World Island Expo to the public and the world," and added, "By re-highlighting the value of islands and the sea, the city will spare no effort to ensure Yeosu can grow into a sustainable marine tourism city."
