Iksan Sarang Scholarship Foundation to Select 274 Scholarship Recipients This Year

Six Categories Including Multicultural, Arts and Sports

The Iksan Sarang Scholarship Foundation will be accepting applications for the 2025 "Iksan Sarang Scholarship" from September 4 to 10.

According to the foundation on August 26, this selection is open to elementary, middle, high school, and university students. A total of 274 recipients will be chosen in six categories: general, special, multiple children, multicultural, arts and sports, and character, with scholarships to be awarded accordingly.

Applicants can submit their documents in person at the Iksan Sarang Scholarship Foundation office on the 7th floor of City Hall or by registered mail. However, applications will not be accepted on public holidays during the application period.

Since its establishment in 2007, the Iksan Sarang Scholarship Foundation has carried out various scholarship initiatives, including the Iksan Sarang Scholarship, career and academic counseling, and support for the Capital Area Happy Dormitory. From 2009 to the present, the foundation has awarded over 6,240 students with scholarships totaling more than 6 billion won, contributing to the advancement of local education.

Chairman Jung Heonyul stated, "We are selecting Iksan Sarang Scholarship recipients again this year to help students focus on their studies without financial burden," adding, "We will do our best to create an educational environment where outstanding local talent, who will lead the future of Iksan as a top-tier education city, can fully realize their dreams."

Meanwhile, the Iksan Sarang Foundation is operated through regular and occasional donations from citizens and organizations, and all contributions are used to nurture local talent.
