The goal of this program is to improve access to learning for people with disabilities, create learning-based job opportunities, and enhance independence and quality of life. Designated as a new lifelong learning city in 2025, Goryeong County aims to expand regionally tailored educational opportunities and stabilize the lifelong learning ecosystem for people with disabilities through this program.
The training consists of a total of 15 hours (5 hours per session, 3 sessions in total) and is structured into step-by-step modules, including: theoretical understanding of lifelong education for people with disabilities, practical application, and strengthening digital-based smart expertise.
An official from Goryeong County emphasized, "It is important to create an inclusive learning environment where people with and without disabilities can communicate and grow together," adding, "Active interest and participation from the local community are needed to train professionals who will guarantee the learning rights of people with disabilities."
The county plans to establish a warm learning community where everyone can learn and grow together by preparing a variety of lifelong learning programs tailored to the needs of people with disabilities.
