Fire Extinguished in Two and a Half Hours
No Casualties Reported
At 2:13 p.m. on August 22, a fire broke out in a greenhouse within the flower complex in Segok-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The fire authorities mobilized 40 vehicles and 232 personnel, and completely extinguished the blaze by 4:43 p.m., two hours and thirty minutes after the fire started.

There were no casualties, but 10 greenhouses and 4 vehicles were completely destroyed. Seven minutes after the fire broke out, the fire authorities issued Response Level 1, deploying all available personnel and equipment from the local fire station to fight the blaze.
The fire authorities are currently investigating the exact cause of the fire.
