2,046 Graduates Embark on New Journeys
President Choi Jaewon Urges:

Pusan National University (President Choi Jaewon) held the "August 2025 Degree Conferment Ceremony" at the Gyeongam Gymnasium on the morning of the 22nd, awarding degrees to a total of 2,046 graduates.
The event was attended by President Choi Jaewon, key faculty members, deans, graduates and their families, as well as alumni.
The ceremony began with an academic report, followed by the president's degree conferment address, a congratulatory speech by the president of the alumni association, a response from the representative of the graduates, the awarding of degrees, a congratulatory performance and song, and the singing of the school anthem.
The August 2025 graduating class consists of 1,068 bachelor's degree recipients, 781 master's degree recipients, and 197 doctoral degree recipients, totaling 2,046 graduates. They have strengthened their expertise within Pusan National University's educational infrastructure and learning environment, growing into professionals who will excel in their respective fields.
In his degree conferment address, President Choi Jaewon highlighted the recent achievement of "Tidyboy," a robotics team composed of students and professors from the Department of Electrical Engineering, which took first place in the Home Service category at the world's most prestigious AI robotics competition, RoboCup 2025.
He stated, "The era of AI transformation is one in which we can connect with the world anytime and anywhere," and emphasized, "If Pusan National University boldly and confidently pioneers new paths in education and research, the road we walk will become the standard of the future." He encouraged the graduates by saying, "Now step proudly into the world and become the protagonists on the global stage. Pusan National University will always be by your side, supporting your great dreams and serving as a steadfast foundation."
