This program was designed to provide information on pregnancy and childbirth support systems, preventing any gaps in information, and to encourage the sharing of experiences among multicultural families. The aim is to address feelings of isolation and alienation caused by language barriers and cultural differences, and to promote community integration.
The event also featured a foot bath experience. The foot bath, known for its effectiveness in relieving fatigue and reducing stress, was well received as it helped participants achieve psychological stability.
The Goryeong County Public Health Center plans to use this program as a foundation to reduce the information gap regarding pregnancy and childbirth among multicultural families and to promote community interaction.
Governor Lee Namcheol stated, "This was an opportunity for multicultural families to obtain necessary information and to respect each other's cultures," adding, "We will expand customized programs linked to pregnancy and childbirth support to help multicultural families settle stably and enjoy healthy family lives."
