This project aims to improve access to major arterial roads within the region by expanding a total of 2.24 kilometers between Pogok IC on the Second Capital Area Ring Expressway and the Maseong 1 Intersection on Local Road 321 from two lanes to four lanes. A total of 34.5 billion won is being invested in the project.

The section to be opened first is the 1.35-kilometer stretch between Pogok IC Intersection and Yeongma Bridge (251-4, Yeongmun-ri). The city plans to open the remaining section, from Yeongma Bridge to Maseong 1 Intersection, by the end of November.

Lee Sangil, Mayor of Yongin, stated, "We decided to open the completed sections first to alleviate chronic congestion and traffic inconvenience," adding, "We will also promptly complete the remaining construction so that citizens can use the road more conveniently."

Additionally, the city will fully open the 'Gorim District Connecting Road (Jung 1-1)' between Yurim-dong and Gorim District in Cheoin-gu, which was temporarily opened on August 11, on August 25. This road is a four-lane, two-way road with a total length of 320 meters and a width of 23 to 28 meters.
