This special lecture was organized to help young people gain confidence and motivation as they believe in their potential and work toward realizing their dreams.

As the keynote speaker, Mayor Joo Gwangdeok quoted Dasan Jeong Yak-yong's words, "For those who have dreams, tomorrow is youth and anticipation," emphasizing to students the value and importance of dreams as they consider their future paths.

He went on to present specific methods for achieving dreams, such as creating one's own branding expression, encouraging and supporting oneself, and developing the habit of keeping records, which resonated with the students.

Mayor Joo Gwangdeok stated, "The journey to achieving your dreams begins when you have pride and confidence in yourself as a precious person who will shine in the world," adding, "That is the way to live your life independently and proactively."

One student who attended the special lecture commented, "Until now, I thought of achieving my dreams only vaguely, but through today's lecture, I was able to gain a concrete sense of direction, making it a valuable experience. From now on, I will start by taking small steps, such as keeping records and organizing my thoughts, to pursue my dreams."

Meanwhile, since last year, the city has held special career lectures at nine schools in the area, including Hwagwang Middle School, and is expanding a variety of career and academic programs to help students explore their studies and career paths and nurture their dreams.
