The visit was attended by Chairman Ko Sunjae, Vice Chairman Lee Hyunsook, Steering Committee Chairman Yoo Jiwoong, Administrative Welfare Committee Chairman Oh Jihwan, Finance and Construction Committee Chairman Ahn Jongsook, as well as council members Kim Sungju, Ahn Byungdoo, Park Mijeong, Kang Yeojeong, Lee Hyeongjun, Shin Jeongtae, Ha Seoyoung, and Lee Eunkyung.
The council members received a progress report on the second day of the exercise from the Head of the Safe City Division in the situation room on the second floor of the district office. They also delivered snacks for 130 people to the on-duty personnel, encouraging the staff who are carrying out their emergency preparedness duties despite the lingering heat.
Chairman Ko Sunjae stated, "The Eulji Exercise is a valuable opportunity to enhance crisis response capabilities and review the region's defense posture," and urged, "Please approach the exercise as if it were a real situation, and treat real situations as if they were exercises."
