Living and Tourism Become One Across Neoritjae... Hwasun County and Gwangju Dong-gu announced on the 20th that the two local governments jointly launched a "1 Night 2 Days Travel Package" in Asan, Chungnam, which attracted great popularity with over 9,000 visitors.

The background for planning this travel package was the geographic feature that both Hwasun County and Gwangju Dong-gu share a living and tourism zone separated by Neoritjae.

The "Hwasun-Dong-gu Linked Tourism Program Development Project" was a collaboration among four organizations: Hwasun County, Hwasun County Culture and Tourism Foundation, Gwangju Dong-gu Office, and Gwangju Dong-gu Culture and Tourism Foundation. The event was held at Asan Spavis in Chungnam from the 15th to the 16th.

This event was timed to coincide with the peak summer vacation season, with Asan Spavis, which attracts more than 5,000 family tourists per day, chosen as the ideal venue to promote the linked tourism package. On-site, a giveaway event offering 100% and 50% travel expense support vouchers generated enthusiastic participation from visitors, and travel goods featuring the unique characteristics of both regions provided special memories for attendees.

The newly introduced 1 Night 2 Days family travel packages consist of: ▲ "WE ROAD," a family camping course for healing in nature; ▲ "Fairytale Journey of Memories," which combines cultural and artistic experiences with Hwasun's romantic night views; and ▲ "Forest·In·Rest," featuring forest trekking and healing experiences.

Starting in September, these three packages will begin full-scale pilot operations, recruiting participants nationwide through various travel platforms and agencies. In particular, the program offers a one-stop service from transportation to accommodation reservations after arriving at the Gwangju assembly point, significantly reducing the burden of travel preparation and providing a more convenient and differentiated travel experience for families.

Gu Jongcheon, CEO of the Hwasun County Culture and Tourism Foundation, stated, "This promotion is meaningful as it marks the first achievement in creating new synergy by connecting the tourism resources of Hwasun and Gwangju Dong-gu." He added, "We will continue to develop a variety of travel products that everyone can enjoy through ongoing cooperation between the two regions, and do our best to establish Hwasun as a center for healing tourism."
