Deliberation on the Second Supplementary Budget Proposal

This extraordinary session will begin on the 28th with the first plenary session, where various agenda items, including the proposal to form the Special Budget and Accounts Committee, will be addressed. From August 29 to September 2, each standing committee will review agenda items, and from September 3 to 4, the Special Budget and Accounts Committee will convene to deliberate the second supplementary budget proposal for 2025 submitted by the executive branch. The final decision will be confirmed at the second plenary session on September 5.
During the session, a total of eight bills proposed by council members are scheduled for review. The main items include: ▲Resolution on the establishment of a friendship agreement between Gangnam District Council and Yeoncheon County Council (Assemblyman Hwang Younggak and five others); ▲Ordinance bill on support for autonomous police affairs in Gangnam District, Seoul (Assemblyman Kim Hyungdae and six others); ▲Ordinance bill on public opinion surveys in Gangnam District, Seoul (Assemblywoman Noh Aeja and eleven others); ▲Ordinance bill on the prevention and management of urban wild animal damage in Gangnam District, Seoul (Assemblyman Han Yoonsu and eight others); ▲Ordinance bill on the promotion of early childhood forest education in Gangnam District, Seoul (Assemblywoman Kim Gwangsim and ten others); ▲Partial amendment ordinance bill on support and delegation for immunization in Gangnam District, Seoul (Assemblyman Lee Dongho and thirteen others); ▲Partial amendment ordinance bill on the reduction, collection, transportation, and recycling of food waste in Gangnam District, Seoul (Assemblyman Kim Hyunggon and seven others); ▲Ordinance bill on fostering and supporting the artificial intelligence industry in Gangnam District, Seoul (Assemblyman Woo Jonghyuk and five others).
In addition, including 22 agenda items submitted by the executive branch, a total of 30 items are scheduled to be addressed during this extraordinary session.
