What type of housing is best suited for the Busan-style redevelopment project?
Dong-Eui University (President Han Suhwan) will hold a joint seminar on industry-academia-government collaboration to discuss strategies for Busan-style housing supply, targeting Busan citizens, public institutions, local governments, and stakeholders in redevelopment projects.
The seminar, jointly hosted and organized by the Dong-Eui University RISE Project Group, the College of Future Convergence, and the Graduate School of Real Estate, will be held under the theme "Asking the Way of Busan-style Redevelopment: Building the Future of Housing Together with Universities, Local Governments, and the Private Sector." It is scheduled for August 21, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, at the Prime Seminar Room in the Changui Hall, Gaya Campus.
Key presentations will include Professor Oh Yoonkyung from Dong-Eui University (Real Estate Development and Management) on "Strategies and Implementation Tasks for Busan-style Housing Supply through Redevelopment Projects," and Chun Chunhwa, Manager at Korea Land & Trust, on "Directions and Tasks for Redevelopment of Aging Planned Cities in Busan: Focusing on Leading Districts."
The comprehensive panel discussion will be moderated by Jeong Hoi, Dean of the College of Future Convergence at Dong-Eui University, with panelists including Kim Donghyeong, CEO of Twin DNC; Kim Junki, Manager at Korea Real Estate Board Busan Western Branch; Yang Seungho, President of the Busan Urban Redevelopment Union Association; Lee Hoyoung, Director of Urban Redevelopment Sales Team at Hyundai Engineering & Construction; and Jeong Minha, CEO of Jiin Plus Real Estate Jiin.
This seminar is open to any Busan citizen interested in redevelopment projects, and a Q&A session will follow the comprehensive discussion.
