On August 19, Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Development Corporation (GH) held the 'GH Family Day' at its headquarters in Gwanggyo, Suwon, inviting employees' children to enjoy activities such as reading, cooking, and sports together.
The event was organized to allow families to create special memories by experiencing parents' workplaces firsthand, and to promote a family-friendly culture aimed at achieving work-life balance and addressing the issue of low birth rates.
The children gained an understanding of the value of work and developed greater respect for their parents by experiencing their workplaces directly. Participating employees reported increased emotional closeness with their children and higher job satisfaction as a result of spending this special time together. The company also saw positive effects in spreading an organizational culture where work and family are harmoniously balanced.

Lee Jongseon, acting president of GH, stated, "GH Family Day offered a special experience for all families, distinct from a kids' cafe or amusement park," and added, "GH will continue to promote family-friendly activities to establish an organizational culture where work and family are in harmony, and further contribute to solving the low birth rate issue."
Meanwhile, GH recently ranked second in the internal customer satisfaction category of the '2024 Gyeonggi-do Public Institution Customer Satisfaction Survey.'
