World Vision Launches 'Self-Reliant Village Campaign' with Seo Eunkwang of BTOB Seo Eunkwang of the group BTOB, who participated in World Vision's 'Self-Reliant Village Campaign.' World Vision

World Vision (President Cho Myunghwan) announced on August 19 that it will launch the 'Self-Reliant Village Campaign' in collaboration with Seo Eunkwang, a member of the group BTOB.

The 'Self-Reliant Village Campaign' is World Vision's flagship brand campaign, which provides integrated support in the areas of water and sanitation, health and nutrition, education, and livelihood self-reliance until a village can sustain itself without external assistance.

Carrying the slogan "Self-Reliant Village, From Your STOP Ring," the campaign's symbol, the 'STOP Ring,' is a silver 925 ring that represents 'complete sponsorship,' meaning support ends once the village achieves self-reliance. This special merchandise was designed to remind people of the meaning of sharing in their daily lives and is especially popular among the 2030 generation.

Seo Eunkwang of BTOB is participating in the campaign as a talent donor, helping to spread the value of self-reliance and the meaning of sharing. In the campaign video, Seo Eunkwang delivered a heartfelt message, saying, "Why STOP? Because only sponsorship can be stopped. Until the day the village can sustain itself even after sponsorship ends, I will continue to support this cause with the STOP Ring."

To commemorate the collaboration with Seo Eunkwang, World Vision will offer a special 'STOP Ring Gwang Package' to the first 2,000 people who sign up for regular sponsorship starting today. The package includes the STOP Ring, a Seo Eunkwang photo card, and a 'Eunkwang Cloth' (polishing cloth) for cleaning the silver ring.

Applications to participate in the campaign can be made through the official World Vision website. For more details, including the campaign video and participation methods, search for 'World Vision STOP Ring' on portal sites.

The funds raised will be primarily used for community development projects to support the self-reliance of Mulemje Village in Zambia, and will subsequently be extended to other villages facing similar crises. World Vision is working together with local residents to create self-reliant villages where children can grow up safely and healthily, focusing on essential areas such as water, health, education, and livelihoods.

Seo Eunkwang of BTOB stated, "I have long wanted to participate in a sharing campaign, so I am deeply grateful and honored to join the World Vision Self-Reliant Village Campaign. I hope that, with much interest, we can all share happiness together, and I will continue to support this cause until the day when sponsorship is no longer needed and can come to an end."

Cho Myunghwan, President of World Vision, said, "The self-reliance of a village means creating an environment where children can be safely protected and freely pursue their dreams. Through this campaign, I hope many people will join in sharing and resonate with the sustainable value of self-reliance. I sincerely thank Seo Eunkwang for participating in the campaign with such a warm heart."
