Byungsub Jung Emphasizes “Heartfelt Service to Inspire Customers”
Air Busan (CEO Byungsub Jung) is accelerating its transformation into a safety-focused airline by recruiting new talent.
On August 18, Air Busan announced that it held an induction ceremony for 38 new cabin crew members at the main auditorium of its headquarters in Gangseo-gu, Busan. The event was attended by CEO Byungsub Jung and other executives and staff, who congratulated the new crew members on the start of their careers.

In his welcome speech, CEO Jung repeatedly emphasized the importance of "absolute safety in operations," urging the new employees to "always put the safety of customers and colleagues first, and to deliver heartfelt and attentive service that moves our customers."
The newly hired crew members will undergo approximately nine weeks of essential safety training and in-flight service education, including aviation security, emergency evacuation and ditching, fire suppression, and first aid. In particular, hands-on training using real equipment will be strengthened to enhance their ability to respond to various situations.
Previously, during the cabin crew recruitment process held in July, Air Busan introduced new evaluation methods such as video screening, AI competency assessments, and English interviews to improve objectivity in evaluations and better verify candidates' abilities.
An Air Busan representative stated, "We hope that our new cabin crew members will grow into in-flight safety professionals who ensure safe air travel through systematic training."
