Sungsil Cyber University Signs Consignment Education Agreement with Korea Fire Meister High School

Sungsil Cyber University Signs Consignment Education Agreement with Korea Fire Meister High School

Sungsil Cyber University (President Han Heon-Soo) announced on August 14 that it has signed a consignment education agreement with Korea Fire Meister High School (Principal Lee Myung-Shin).


On the morning of August 14 at 11:00 a.m., the two institutions held a signing ceremony for the consignment education agreement in the first-floor conference room of Sungsil Cyber University's Jongno Campus. The event was attended by key representatives, including Lee Jin-Hee, Director of Admissions and Public Relations at Sungsil Cyber University; Lee Chang-Woo, Director of Academic Affairs (Professor of Fire and Disaster Prevention); Jung Doo-Hyun, Head of the Admissions Team; Lee Myung-Shin, Principal of Korea Fire Meister High School; and Ahn Eun-Kyung, Head of Career Support. Both parties pledged close cooperation to achieve their shared goals in the future.


Korea Fire Meister High School, established on March 1, 2020, is the first and only Meister high school in South Korea specializing in fire safety. With the educational goal of "Nurturing Young Meisters to lead next-generation fire response and the advancement of the fire industry," the school has developed a top-tier fire safety education system. It is also dedicated to producing leading fire and safety professionals in Korea by focusing on field-oriented technical education, future-oriented creative education, and character education that emphasizes consideration and service.


Under this consignment education agreement, faculty and staff of Korea Fire Meister High School who enroll at Sungsil Cyber University will receive a 50% reduction in tuition fees per credit each semester (with official documentation required). In addition, graduates or prospective graduates of Korea Fire Meister High School who enroll will be eligible for a 30% tuition reduction per credit each semester (with a graduation or expected graduation certificate required).


Lee Jin-Hee, Director of Admissions and Public Relations at Sungsil Cyber University, stated, "At a time when the value of safety is more important than ever, we are honored to establish a collaborative relationship with Korea Fire Meister High School, which is focused on nurturing professionals who will be responsible for the future of fire safety in Korea. We will provide full support to ensure that the faculty, staff, and graduates (or prospective graduates) of Korea Fire Meister High School can pursue their studies at Sungsil Cyber University in a stable environment."


Lee Myung-Shin, Principal of Korea Fire Meister High School, commented, "It is an honor to sign a consignment education agreement with Sungsil Cyber University, which is leading the online education trend in Korea. I hope that our faculty, staff, and graduates (or prospective graduates) will be able to advance toward a better future through Sungsil Cyber University."
