Yogiyo Supports Delivery Services Using "Child Meal Card"

Eliminating the Inconvenience and Psychological Burden of Face-to-Face Payments
Improving Meal Accessibility to Help Close Welfare Gaps

Yogiyo announced on August 14 that it will partner with the simple payment platform Biple Pay to offer delivery services using "Child Meal Cards" in select regions of South Gyeongsang Province. This collaboration aims to improve meal accessibility for children at risk of food insecurity who are often left out of welfare coverage, and will first be implemented in four areas: Jinju, Tongyeong, Hadong, and Hamyang.

The "Child Meal Card" is a welfare program in which local governments provide meal expenses to children under the age of 18 who are at risk of missing meals. The prepaid IC card, issued by local governments, is automatically recharged with meal funds every month and can be used at convenience stores, restaurants, and supermarkets.

Yogiyo Supports Delivery Services Using "Child Meal Card"

Through technological cooperation with Biple Pay, Yogiyo has established a delivery order environment that utilizes the Child Meal Card. As a result, children in areas with limited dining options can now enjoy convenient and safe meals without the inconvenience or psychological burden often associated with face-to-face payments.

In particular, even during periods when care gaps are more likely to occur, such as summer vacation, continuous meal support can be provided through delivery services, which is expected to significantly ease the caregiving burden on guardians. Yogiyo plans to expand the service to other regions in the future, supporting more children in using the Child Meal Card for delivery services in a safer and more convenient manner.

A Yogiyo representative stated, "We decided to launch this collaboration to ensure that every child, regardless of region or circumstance, can enjoy a warm meal," adding, "We will continue to consider our social responsibilities as a delivery platform and strive to help close welfare gaps in a variety of ways."
