Wang Yajun, Chinese Ambassador to North Korea, visited the Kim Jungsuk Pyongyang Textile Factory in Pyongyang and expressed his commitment to expanding exchanges between North Korean and Chinese companies.
According to the Chinese Embassy in North Korea on the 13th, Ambassador Wang toured the Kim Jungsuk Pyongyang Textile Factory that day, visiting the spinning and dyeing workshops, employee dormitories, and the cafeteria.

He stated, "The Kim Jungsuk Pyongyang Textile Factory has a long history, is well-managed and orderly, has a beautiful environment, and boasts first-class conditions, making its textiles renowned in Korea (North Korea). Since the Chollima era, it has produced many exemplary figures and pioneers of the times, making significant contributions to the development of North Korean socialism."
Ambassador Wang also said, "I believe the factory will successfully carry on the baton of Chollima-era heroes, use the 'Chollima Spirit' as its guiding principle, and make new achievements in building a strong socialist nation in North Korea. I also hope the factory will strengthen exchanges and mutual cooperation with Chinese-related companies to achieve joint development."
The Chinese Embassy in North Korea explained that the factory, established in October 1948, covers an area of about 700,000 cubic meters and employs more than 6,500 workers. In December 2011, it was named after Kim Jungsuk, the wife of President Kim Il Sung.
