On August 13, S-OIL announced that it recently held a meeting with its consumer advisory group, "Gudoil Friends," to gather feedback on its mobile app features, branded merchandise, and advertisements.
Gudoil Friends is a customer participation program that represents consumers and provides input on marketing activities and overall services. The seventh cohort consists of 1,000 members who will be active until the end of this year. Around 30 selected members attended the meeting, where they shared their activities from the first half of the year and discussed feedback on the "Quick Refueling" feature of the MY S-OIL app, branded merchandise, and the 2025 TV commercial released on August 1.
In the first half of this year, S-OIL conducted various programs through Gudoil Friends, including an app e-receipt campaign, joint marketing with the KT Wiz professional baseball team, and a "Polarescue" TV animation emoticon event. A company representative stated, "We will continue to improve our services and drive changes that satisfy our customers by reflecting the feedback received from Gudoil Friends."
Meanwhile, S-OIL is implementing customer-centric services such as the "Trusted Refueling Station" system, which guarantees genuine and precise fuel quantities, the expert consulting group "YES Team," and the "Fueling Assistance Service" for self-service stations. The company is also expanding infrastructure businesses, including Emart24 smart convenience stores and electric vehicle charging services.
