Easy to Take Without Water
Kwangdong Pharmaceutical announced on August 13 that it has launched a new children's fever and pain reliever, "KidsnopenSan."
"KidsnopenSan" is a powder-type fever and pain reliever that can be taken without water. It was developed to allow children who have difficulty taking syrups or tablets to consume it easily. The addition of a grape flavor improves medication adherence, and it can be taken according to the recommended dosage for children aged two years and older.
The main ingredients are 160mg of acetaminophen and 1.3mg of riboflavin (vitamin B2). It is effective for various types of pain such as headaches, toothaches, sore throats, and muscle aches, as well as for chills and fever. In particular, riboflavin helps promote energy metabolism and alleviates headaches.
Additionally, the product uses OD!FS formulation technology, which allows it to dissolve instantly in the mouth and effectively blocks the characteristic bitter taste of medication, enhancing ease of administration. It contains no artificial coloring, preservatives, sugar, or caffeine, making it safe for even sensitive children to take.
KidsnopenSan comes in individually packaged stick pouches, making it convenient to carry and store. As an over-the-counter medication, it can be purchased at pharmacies without a prescription.
A representative from Kwangdong Pharmaceutical stated, "KidsnopenSan is carefully designed in terms of both ingredients and formulation to reduce the stickiness and taste aversion associated with syrup-type fever reducers, allowing children to take it more comfortably. We expect it to become a new alternative in the children's fever and pain reliever market, which is currently dominated by syrup products."
