On August 11, the Changwon Coast Guard Station in South Gyeongsang Province invited students and faculty members from Changwon National University to support a career exploration field trip program for students.
At the main conference room of the station, the Changwon Coast Guard screened a promotional video about the Coast Guard and introduced its operations, answering students' questions about Coast Guard duties and fieldwork.

They also taught cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) techniques, assisted students with hands-on practice, and emphasized the importance of maritime safety.
Afterward, participants boarded a Coast Guard vessel docked at the Changwon Coast Guard's dedicated pier, toured areas such as the deck and wheelhouse, and received explanations about key equipment and the overall vessel.
A Changwon Coast Guard official stated, "We organized this field trip to introduce Changwon National University students, who are preparing to enter society, to the diverse duties and field operations of the Coast Guard, and to broaden their understanding of the world of careers, including those in the maritime sector. We hope this will be of practical help as students plan their future careers."
The official added, "Changwon Coast Guard will continue to make efforts to operate field trip programs for youth and young adults in the future."
