Applications Accepted Individually or in Teams Until August 25
Up to 100,000 Won in Daily Travel Expenses Provided
Gokseong County in South Jeolla Province (Governor: Cho Sangrae) is accepting applications for participants in the "One-Month Trip in Jeonnam - Gokseong Edition," a program jointly organized with the South Jeolla Provincial Government, until August 25.
According to the county on August 11, this initiative is a residency-based tourism program that supports travelers residing outside South Jeolla Province and Gwangju to explore the entire Jeonnam region, with Gokseong as the main hub. Participants will receive practical travel expenses, including accommodation, meals, and activity fees, with support of up to 100,000 won per day.
A total of 10 participants will be selected, and applications can be submitted individually or as a team of up to three people. In particular, influencers who can promote Gokseong's tourism resources through their personal social media channels such as Instagram, YouTube, or blogs will receive additional points during the selection process.
The travel period can be freely chosen between 7 and 10 days from August to November. While participants may travel throughout all 22 cities and counties in South Jeolla Province, they must stay at accommodations in Gokseong and spend more than half of their total itinerary in Gokseong. After completing the trip, participants are required to write a review on the "Namdo Travel Guide" website and post related content on their social media as mandatory tasks.
To apply, applicants must download the application form from the Gokseong County website, complete it, and submit it via email. The results, following a document review, will be announced on the county website on August 27, and successful applicants will also be notified individually.
A county official stated, "This is an opportunity to experience the nature, culture, and everyday relaxation of Gokseong without burden," adding, "We hope participants will discover the hidden charms of Gokseong while staying in the area."
