Kumho Tire (CEO Jung Iltaek) announced on August 11 that the Kumho SL Motorsports Team (hereafter Kumho SLM Team) took first place in the Toyota Gazoo Racing 6000 Class 5th round at the 2025 O-NE Superrace Championship, held on August 9 at Inje Speedium in Inje County, Gangwon Province.

At this Superrace Championship, Lee Changwook of the Kumho SLM Team was the first to cross the finish line in the Toyota Gazoo Racing 6000 Class 5th round, recording a time of 1 hour, 7 minutes, and 53.251 seconds over 40 laps.
In the early stages of the fiercely contested race, Lee Changwook executed a strategic pit stop, simultaneously changing his rear tires and refueling. With an aggressive performance, he took the lead from the 20th lap onward. This season, Lee has demonstrated his strength in challenging night races, securing two wins out of three night events and consistently delivering stable performances.
Lee Changwook commented, "I am delighted with this round's victory, and it was the SLM Team's teamwork that brought about this result. In particular, I will strive to deliver even better races in the remaining events, building on our teamwork with Kumho Tire."
Kumho Tire continues to secure the title of official tire supplier at major motorsport competitions worldwide, thereby strengthening its global motorsport activities. The company also plans to further solidify its position as a performance brand by leveraging the technological expertise it has accumulated through various motorsport activities.
Meanwhile, the 6th round of the Superrace is scheduled to be held as a daytime event on September 7 at Inje Speedium in Gangwon Province.
