Hana Insurance Secures Exclusive Rights for "Pre-Dementia Home Cognitive Training Service"

If a subscriber to the "Hana The Next Dementia Care Insurance" adds the "Mild Cognitive Impairment Home Cognitive Training Rider" and receives the relevant diagnosis, they can receive brain training-based education once a week, up to a maximum of 48 sessions per year.

The program is designed to enhance memory and improve cognitive abilities in daily life. It is structured as a home-visit service, specifically for elderly individuals who have difficulty using digital devices. The training is conducted through physical activities and conversation-based brain stimulation.

A Hana Insurance representative stated, "This recognition is a result of the product's originality and practicality, combining insurance with in-person services," and added, "We expect that by actively managing policyholders from the stage just before dementia, we can help prevent the progression to severe dementia and thereby contribute to reducing social costs."

In early July, Hana Insurance signed a business agreement with Daekyo Newif, a company specializing in senior life solutions, and officially launched its home cognitive training services.

Through the "Hana The Next Dementia Care Insurance" product, which was launched in December last year, the company provides comprehensive coverage for the entire dementia process?from screening and diagnosis to management and long-term care. For policyholders diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment, the company covers up to 150,000 KRW for brain MRI examination fees.
